Location. The Taordomus Hotel is located in Taormina, Sicily, at the heart of the old town. The hotel overlooks a historic narrow street with window boxes and wooden shutters, and backs onto the historic Jewish Quarter. The town's railway station is eight kilometres away.
Hotel Features. A former family mansion, the Taordomus Hotel has been converted with a great deal of attention to detail. A concierge desk offers advice and help with organising tours, car and scooter hire and local sightseeing excursions.
The Taordomus Hotel offers a complimentary breakfast including Sicilian meats, home made cakes and ground coffee.
Guestrooms. The nine air conditioned guestrooms are decorated with minute attention to detail. Headboards are hand carved with motifs including flowers, grapes and vines. Other furniture is also tailor made and hand finished. All rooms have complimentary designer toiletries, satellite television, minibars and safes.
Expert Tip. Taormina has several popular beaches nearby, accessible by an aerial tramway.

From Catania Fontanorossa Airport (CTA):
Distance to Taordomus Hotel is 70 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Buses run directly to Syracuse and Taormina. Tickets are available from a booth in front of the terminal building, and must be validated when boarding. Taxis cost around 100 EUR to Taormina. Prices are all subject to change. A typical taxi fare is 60 EUR.
Getting around. An inexpensive rail network links Sicily's larger towns, including Palermo, Messina, Catania, Taormina, and Syracuse. Buses run throughout the towns and many of the smaller villages. A car is recommended for exploring the less touristy areas.
